Network Administrator - Level II
About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator – Level II to: Deploy and sustain new or existing information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other communications networks. Administers day-to-day sustainment, integrity, security and availability of the network. Perform daily performance monitoring, capacity analysis, and maintain security posture of the network. May assist architecture and engineering with evaluation, making recommendations and testing of network hardware and software products. Creates standard operating procedures, maintenance guides, and knowledge base articles to ensure proper documentation is established for the operational upkeep of the network. Performs network infrastructure maintenance upgrades to ensure a proper security and operational posture is maintained. This position is 100% on-site.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Position designated Non-Critical Sensitive (Tier 3). Candidates must possess or be eligible to obtain Tier 3 national security eligibility (Secret-level investigation)
- Security + Certification or equivalent
- Experience: Four (4) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalency.
