About The Position

We are looking for a skilled Network Administrator to manage, maintain, and secure our ISP network infrastructure. This role includes configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting systems to ensure reliable, high-performance internet services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in networking, routing, and security, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, VPNs, and QoS.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with security best practices, firewall configurations, and DDoS mitigation.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of fiber optic and wireless broadband technologies.
  • Experience with VoIP, IPTV, and cloud-based networking solutions.
  • General knowledge of PSTN network- SIP, GR303, H248, MGCP and VMware
  • One year of telecommunications experience preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications (preferred): CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent networking certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and optimize the ISP’s core and access network, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
  • Monitor network performance, ensuring uptime, reliability, and minimal latency for customers.
  • Configure and maintain IP addressing, VLANs, and network security settings.
  • Conduct regular network audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement improvements.
  • Manage and troubleshoot issues related to internet connectivity, DNS, DHCP, and other network services.
  • Implement and maintain network security policies to protect against cyber threats, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and DDoS mitigation.
  • Monitor for unauthorized access, network breaches, or unusual traffic patterns.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Assist in planning and deploying new network infrastructure, including fiber, fixed wireless.
  • Research and recommend improvements to network design, hardware, and software.
  • Test and deploy firmware/software updates to improve performance and security.
