Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1–3 years of hands-on experience supporting, configuring, and maintaining network and PC operating systems.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Windows operating systems, Cisco networking equipment, virtualization platforms (VMware and/or Hyper-V), and backup technologies such as Veeam.
  • Experience managing and supporting network firewalls and implementing basic network security practices.
  • Working knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and industry standards.
  • Proven ability to perform hardware and software troubleshooting and resolve technical issues independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant IT certifications and/or an Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware and operating systems
  • Managing routers, switches, firewalls, and virtualization platforms
  • Monitoring network performance and implementing improvements
  • Supporting Office 365 environments, antivirus systems, and security updates
  • Performing backups, disaster recovery planning, and system upgrades
  • Responding to help desk requests via phone, EHR alerts, and email
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Documenting incidents and tracking resolutions
  • Providing user training resources and technical guidance
  • Mentoring help desk technicians and supporting team workflows
  • Assisting the IT Director with assigned technology initiatives
  • Acting as liaison with vendors and external IT partners
  • Supporting agency phone systems and communication infrastructure
  • Helping maintain documentation, inventories, and performance reporting
