Lockheed Martin is seeking a driven and dedicated team member to support the Lockheed Martin Center for Innovation in Suffolk, VA. The selected candidate will join the Classified IT Transformation team, performing IT Systems Administration across multiple platforms including AWS/Azure cloud environments, Linux Red Hat, ESXi, VMware Horizon, Windows Server, and Windows/Linux desktops. Overall responsibilities include but are not limited to: Ensuring that all IT systems are managed, controlled, and updated in a manner consistent with both Lockheed Martin and Department of Defense policies, procedures, and requirements. This includes systems engineering and implementation, routine updates, major upgrades, on-going maintenance and support of hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI), virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), Storage Area Networks (SAN), data protection appliances, and other peripherals as well as vulnerability scanning/patching, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance and adherence to the Risk Management Framework. This position may also be responsible for execution of server initiatives, server asset inventory management, server support and troubleshooting of all server infrastructure related hardware, software and all related tasks and requirements. This role utilizes troubleshooting skills to provide timely and effective solutions to problems as well as developing technical solutions to complex problems which require consistent use of ingenuity and creativity. All work must be performed on-site, including some off-shift hours, weekends, and occasional travel. The position also will support a 24 X 7 weekly on-call rotation schedule.
