Job Description: POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Network Architecture & Connectivity Architect and manage enterprise-wide network connectivity between cloud environments, 180+ remote sites, and third-party services Design and maintain routing protocols (e.g., BGP), SD-WAN policies, and hybrid cloud networking integrations (Azure vWAN, AWS TGW) Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to design resilient and secure network architectures Cloud Platform Architecture & Optimization Lead the design and continuous improvement of Azure and AWS architectures for scalability, performance, security, and cost-efficiency Identify and refactor legacy IaaS workloads to PaaS, containers, or serverless where appropriate Establish and govern modern tenancy standards, integrating compliance, tagging, and operational observability Implement and optimize resource tagging, reserved capacity planning, and usage monitoring Partner with business and technology leaders to translate strategic objectives into cloud and network architecture plans, aligning infrastructure decisions to business outcomes Infrastructure as Code & Automation Manage the development, deployment, and maintenance of IaC templates using Terraform and Ansible Build reusable modules for consistent infrastructure provisioning across environments Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and support shift-left practices for DevOps teams Establish version control, change tracking, and peer review standards for infrastructure code Disaster Recovery & Platform Resilience Design and implement resilient architectures with RTO/RPO-aligned disaster recovery strategies across cloud platforms Integrate DR policies, backup automation, and cross-region replication into IaC and operational toolsets Drive quarterly DR testing, logging, and business continuity planning as part of standard operations Monitor and enhance platform reliability through observability tooling and auto-remediation practices Technical Leadership & Team Enablement Act as a cloud and networking subject matter expert, coaching internal engineers and promoting knowledge-sharing across teams Lead architecture reviews and training sessions to uplift internal capabilities in cloud-native design Partner with enterprise architects, security and application teams to ensure cohesive and secure designs Establish platform ownership models, operational standards, and intake processes for new infrastructure requests Drive adoption and change management across teams for cloud and infrastructure best practices Build relationships across the enterprise to understand business challenges and opportunities MINIMUM SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 7+ years in senior-level network or cloud engineering/architecture roles Demonstrated expertise in Azure and AWS cloud architecture and networking Ability to align cloud architectures with business strategy balancing performance, cost, and scalability to deliver measurable outcomes Deep experience with IP networking, LAN/WAN design, BGP, cloud network design, and SD-WAN (Meraki preferred) Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible, including production-level deployments Strong understanding of DR, business continuity, and high-availability architectures Proven track record of translating technical architectures into business value Leadership experience mentoring teams and driving cloud capability maturity Strong scripting (Powershell, Bash, Python), automation, and infrastructure lifecycle skills Skilled in assessing the business impact of infrastructure investments, including TCO, ROI, and risk SUMMARY OF BENEFITS: This role is eligible for the following benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company matching, Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), individual stock ownership, paid vacation, paid sick leave, paid holidays, bereavement leave, employee assistance program, pre-tax flexible spending accounts, basic term life insurance and AD&D, business travel accident insurance, short and long term disability, financial wellness coaching, educational assistance, Care.com membership, ClassPass fitness membership, and DashPass delivery membership.
