Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Media Services is redefining how streaming platforms deliver live, linear, and on-demand video at scale. With Streaming Media as a Service (SMaaS), we’re building an industry-first product that makes it seamless for providers to run their most demanding events on OCI. From the Super Bowl to global tentpole moments, this role ensures viewers experience broadcast-grade quality with cloud-native flexibility. As a Network Delivery Engineer (IC5), you will focus on automating and operationalizing the delivery layer. You’ll design and implement repeatable workflows for CDN capacity, routing, and caching, enabling OCI to scale to millions of concurrent viewers with minimal latency. You’ll be the hands-on expert during live events, partnering with engineering and operations teams to monitor traffic in real time, reroute traffic flows, and keep performance stable under extreme load. This role is also about building the systems that make scale sustainable. You’ll architect tools to manage CDN configurations across multiple properties, automate telemetry ingestion to drive smarter routing, and manage VOD asset repositories for consistent availability. You’ll collaborate closely with core networking teams to improve OCI’s video delivery posture, while shaping cross-team roadmaps that define the future of video delivery at Oracle. This is an opportunity to work at the heart of streaming innovation - balancing the rigor of live operations with the creativity of building automation at scale. If you thrive in high-pressure environments, enjoy architecting systems that simplify complexity, and want to help Oracle deliver flawless streaming experiences to millions of viewers worldwide, this role is for you.
