About The Position

Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain local and wide-area networks (LAN/WAN) to support operational and production needs in FDA-regulated environments. Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, security, and connectivity issues to ensure minimal downtime. Collaborate with IT, engineering, and project teams to support system integration, validation, and compliance requirements. Implement network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls, to protect sensitive data. Maintain accurate documentation of network architecture, configurations, changes, and incident reports. Support audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance requirements related to IT infrastructure. Recommend and implement improvements to optimize network performance and reliability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–10 years’ experience in network engineering, IT infrastructure, or system administration, preferably in regulated or life sciences environments.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools, VPNs, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across IT, engineering, and operational teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of regulatory requirements, data integrity, and compliance (GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
