About The Position

T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain. Our mission is to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy. Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. By the time you finish reading this paragraph, we will have produced two solar panels that will power American homes and fuel domestic AI. T1 Energy is looking to hire a Network Engineer to be responsible for the reliability, security, and performance of T1 Energy's enterprise network infrastructure. This role owns the design, maintenance and optimization of network systems including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, and related IT assets. You will ensure stable connectivity across manufacturing and office environments while supporting enterprise systems, security infrastructure, and end-user operations.

Requirements

  • Experience managing enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless systems).
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across network and endpoint systems.
  • Experience with hardware/software upgrades and configuration management.
  • Understanding of network security, authentication, and access controls.
  • Familiarity with MDF/IDF operations and structured cabling environments.
  • Ability to support cross-functional IT and business teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day operations of enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless fiber, MDF/IDF environments).
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and secure connectivity across manufacturing and office environments.
  • Diagnose and resolve network issues; manage upgrades, replacements, and configuration changes.
  • Support network expansion projects from planning through implementation and vendor coordination.
  • Maintain network security controls, authentication systems, and access management.
  • Monitor infrastructure health, identify risk proactively, and prevent downtime.
  • Maintain accurate asset tracking, documentation, and infrastructure standards.
  • Provide backup support for endpoint systems, security cameras, and enterprise connectivity tools.
