Overview We are seeking a Network Operations / Engineering Intern to support enterprise-scale infrastructure in a global production environment. This role provides hands-on experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and automating networks services supporting enterprise platforms . You will collaborate with senior engineers within an Infrastructure organization and contribute to operational excellence, reliability, and performance optimization initiatives.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Sciences or related fields
  • Strong foundational understanding of networking technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, etc.)
  • Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and Python scripting language
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity practices, network administration, and troubleshooting methodologies
  • Interest in emerging AI technologies for network management
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Eligibility: This internship is open to students pursuing their bachelors or masters degree at an accredited college or university in the US, planning to graduate between December 2026 and June 2027.
  • Our interns – and their conversion role - are required to be based on one of our US hub locations where you can experience a hybrid working environment.
  • This internship and the full-time conversion will be based in San Jose.
  • Interns are expected to relocate.

Responsibilities

  • Support enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers)
  • Analyze network traffic and performance metrics
  • Support configuration management and change control processes
  • Contribute to automation initiatives
  • Maintain documentation and network topology diagrams
