About The Position

Under the supervision and direction of the Director of Information Technology, The Network Manager is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of the organization’s network infrastructure. This role ensures reliable network performance to support business operations, including critical systems, applications, and communications. The position may also oversee network projects, vendors, and junior IT staff. Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and Experience with firewalls, routing and switching, and VoIP technologies. Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools. Experience with Windows Server environments and Active Directory, Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. This position will also serve as a front-line member in the IT Department to resolve end users' issues. Must have a working knowledge of IT support and help desk structure. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in computer related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
  • Experience with firewalls, routing and switching, and VoIP technologies.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
  • Experience with Windows Server environments and Active Directory
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Must have a working knowledge of IT support and help desk structure.
  • 3-7 years of network related experience preferred

Nice To Haves

  • CCNA/CCNP, CompTia Network+ or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • experience in healthcare preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare security requirements and HIPAA safeguards preferred.
