Network Operation Center Engineer, Senior The Opportunity: Your combination of people skills and technical expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. We’re looking for a systems administrator who specializes in Red Hat Enterprise Linux to help us build and maintain tailored virtual infrastructure supporting global missions focused on seeking out and eliminating cyberspace threats to defend the United States and its allies. As a systems administrator on our project, you’ll ensure the current infrastructure is functional and available and constantly look for ways to make the infrastructure better using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies. You’ll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. You’ll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset with tools such as Ansible, oVirt, pfSense, FreeIPA, Docker, Jira, and Confluence. We focus on growing as a team, so you’ll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the teamwork through challenges and develop new methodologies. Requirements

6+ years of experience with Linux
Experience working in a system engineering or system administration role
Experience with Linux system administration and Virtual Machine Management
Experience with Jira ticketing and Confluence
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Experience with advanced troubleshooting of network, firewall, system, and application issues, including oVirt, FreeIPA, and pfSense
Experience provisioning virtual infrastructure and allocating virtual infrastructure hosting software
Experience with container provisioning tools, including Docker
Experience with Apache NiFi deployments
Ability to use automation tools and Infrastructure-as-Code to manage installations, pipelines, and scripting
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering
IAT Level II Certification
