Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago Job Description General Summary: The Neurodiagnostic (ND) Tech Assistant is a support position in the Epilepsy Center and/or Clinical Neurophysiology areas, with duties designed to be flexible to meet the specific needs of the department. The ND Tech Assistant assists the Neurodiagnostic Technologists by facilitating the workflow of the department. Individuals in the ND Assistant role will have demonstrated strong communication and collaboration skills and the ability to achieve results in a team environment. Active participation in an intensive EEG training program will be required including the completion of ASET online learning modules. Completion of internal competencies as well as hands on coaching required to successfully transition into the Neurodiagnostic Technologist role. This role is a 12-month long Neurodiagnostic training program. It will start as a day shift and then will rotate to night shift about halfway through program.
