About The Position

New Hire Operations Lead The Opportunity: The New Hire Operations Lead will provide leadership and oversight for all background screening and onboarding operations. Lead will be dedicated to elevating and optimizing service offerings, with a core focus on delivering an exceptional new hire experience from pre-hire evaluation through in-person onboarding and beyond. Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience leading varied and multi-location teams in background screening, onboarding, or talent acquisition
  • Experience with the integration of technology solutions such as HRIS, identity management systems, and background screening platforms
  • Experience with coordinating or managing process enhancements in a talent acquisition organization
  • Experience in leadership roles and driving change management, process improvement, and team development
  • Knowledge of industry standards, compliance regulations including FCRA, EEOC, and Fair Chance Act, and emerging best practices in new hire onboarding
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Workday as ATS
  • Possession of excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Security Management
  • HR, security, or compliance certified, such as SHRM, HRCI, or CPP Certification

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams to enhance background screening and onboarding practices, ensuring efficiency, candidate satisfaction, and best-in-class service delivery.
  • Design and implement transformational initiatives and continuous improvement strategies that streamline workflows, reduce risk, and elevate the employee onboarding journey.
  • Oversee the integration and optimization of identity verification technologies, maintaining robust security protocols and operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including FCRA, EEOC, Fair Chance Act, and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and vendors to optimize service-level agreements and resolve escalations quickly and effectively.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, providing regular updates and actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Champion training and development initiatives, updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reflect evolving industry standards.
