About The Position

WNDU 16 News is in search of a part-time, highly energetic, and creative individual with a passion for shooting, editing video, and gathering news content. We are looking for a self-motivated team player who strives for success every day. Join our dynamic newsroom, where we excel in breaking news coverage, severe weather updates, and daily investigative reporting. Paid training is provided.

Requirements

College degree in journalism, broadcasting, or related field is preferred, but not necessary.
A motor vehicle record background check is required.
WNDU-TV is a drug-free workplace and participates in the Homeland Security E-Verify Program.

Responsibilities

Capturing video footage
Crafting news material
Editing daily newscasts
Proficient operation of live news gear
Skills in non-linear editing
Adaptability to grasp new protocols
