About The Position

We are seeking Needham High School students who: have completed 10+ hours as lab volunteer can work 1-2 hours per week and is willing to make a COMMITMENT for at least 6 months during the school year is RELIABLE and will show up as agreed (Tuesday afternoons and Friday at 7:45 am), can communicate effectively with teachers and is able to take INITIATIVE and ask for help or direction as needed, is willing to keep the science classrooms CLEAN and stocked with equipment and the ‘prep’ room clean and ORGANIZED, is FLEXIBLE to complete all varieties of tasks and activities. (some will be mundane and others out of the ordinary), is EXCITED to learn how to make solutions and prepare materials for lab experiments, and is able to effectively COMMUNICATE and organize volunteer tasks and schedules Hourly Rate: $10.87/hr Posted vacancies in the Needham Public Schools have been approved by the School Committee and are subject to appropriation at Town Meeting.
