About The Position

This is routine custodial work involving the care and housekeeping of the Robert A. Christensen Justice Center. Work involves varied responsibility for participating in the performance of a variety of tasks including cleaning, minor maintenance and repair tasks, and room set-ups.
Generally, the hiring range is $39,464-$49,330 annually. Qualifications, education and experience as it relates to the position will be taken into consideration when determining hiring salary.

Hours are 4:30pm - 1:00am, Monday - Friday. This position also includes an annual clothing allowance.

Requirements

• EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma or GED equivalent and knowledge of the proper use and safety of cleaning supplies and tools or equivalent.
• CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS:
• Must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License upon hire, with complying insurance. Review of motor vehicle record is required at time of hire and periodically throughout employment.
• This position requires successful completion of a criminal background check including fingerprinting through a national database.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all floor surfaces.
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and replenishes supplies.
• Dusts and polishes woodwork and furniture.
• Cleans and maintains all interior building surfaces.
• Collects and disposes of trash.
• Secure building nightly.
• Operation, basic maintenance and adjustment of mechanical custodial equipment.
• Report all maintenance issues to Lead Custodian.
• May be required to perform basic maintenance.
