About The Position

Seasonal Night Driver Technician Clarke of Labelle, FL is seeking to hire a Night Driver Technician to help control populations of adult mosquitoes by ensuring that spray equipment is working properly and applying an ultra-low volume mosquito control product to contracted communities, subdivisions, industrial sites, and other harborage areas. WORK SCHEDULE AND SALARY This position earns a competitive wage of $ 15.00/hr and generally works Monday-Friday, 6PM-2AM (start/end times may vary based on business needs). The Night Driver Technician must be available to work part time on call and will support the summer seasonal operations through November/December. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A NIGHT FIELD TECHNICIAN As a Night Field Technician, you are responsible for driving a company vehicle to apply a mosquito control product to contracted communities, subdivisions, industrial sites, and other harborage areas in an effort to control the mosquito population. You love your graveyard shift job as you get to be out of an office and driving the local community during the calmest times of the night. A map will be given to you by your supervisor for you to utilize as you navigate your truck through treatment routes while abiding all traffic laws. You have excellent attention to detail as you apply treatments accurately, safely, and in a timely manner. Lastly, you document all activity to ensure customer's contracts are completed. When you are not spraying, you are performing inspections and maintenance on your equipment, attending training, or helping in other aspects of your field. Requirements

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Possess a high school degree or equivalent with high school level math skills
• Communicate effectively in English in both written and verbal forms
• Have a valid Driver's License with an excellent driving record
• Ability to sit and drive a vehicle for extensive amounts of time following specified routes
• Must be able to work through the end of our 2026 season (November/December)
• Flexibility to work a day shift if necessary and perform residential mosquito control services of adult mosquito populations
• May be required to obtain state required pesticide licensing (training provided)
• Must be available to work Monday- Friday, 6:00pm - 2:00am (shifts may vary, some holiday and weekends required)
• Capable of using handheld technical device including, but not limited to, smartphones, GPS, and system applications
• Candidate must be comfortable performing assigned duties while operating a vehicle through various residential communities, urban environments and traffic patterns where environmental conditions are affected by weather, pedestrians and other operating vehicle
