Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of front office or hotel operations experience.
  • Previous supervisory or MOD experience preferred.
  • Experience with hotel PMS systems required (Opera, Colleague Advantage, etc.).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive during incidents or emergencies.
  • Solid understanding of front office procedures, night audit processes, and hotel operations.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, PMS management, and reporting tools.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Manager on Duty during overnight hours and oversee all night operations.
  • Support and supervise the Night Audit team to ensure accurate completion of daily financial balancing.
  • Handle guest concerns, requests, complaints, and incident reports professionally.
  • Monitor hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures throughout the property.
  • Conduct property walks to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper overnight standards.
  • Support overnight Housekeeping and Front Desk staff as needed.
  • Coordinate with Engineering for urgent maintenance issues.
  • Ensure proper room availability, accuracy of reservations, and PMS posting integrity.
  • Prepare nightly reports and communicate operational updates to daytime management.
  • Assist with morning preparation tasks, including setting up front office operations for the next shift.
  • Enforce company policies, service standards, and brand guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
