Night Shift Pit Loader Operator
About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Operate pit loader safely and efficiently to support sand and gravel production. Load haul trucks, feed plant equipment, and move materials as needed. Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance tasks. Monitor material quality and communicate any production or safety concerns. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong commitment to safe work practices around machinery and pit operations.
- Capability to work independently and adapt to changing production needs.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work in varying outdoor conditions.
- Reliable, communicative individual with attention to detail and situational awareness.
