Non-CDL Driver & Equipment Set-up

Equipment setup / delivery drivers are responsible for assembling TCE equipment and delivering products and equipment to our customers.
Requirements
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
- Ability to work independently
- Minimum of 2 years of non-commercial driving
- Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions
- A proven aptitude for delivering top-notch customer service experiences
- A keenness to learn, adapt, and implement new technologies and mythologies
- Capable of routinely handling items weighing up to 75 pounds
- Ability to pass and maintain hiring standards for non-commercial drivers (background, MVR, drug testing, insurance standards)
- High school diploma or its equivalent is required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in driving a non-commercial truck/trailer combo is preferred but not required
- Experience assembling landscape equipment is plus
Responsibilities
- Setup equipment according to manufacture specifications
- Establish a solid understanding of products and equipment sold at STI
- Load and unload products and equipment for delivery
- Assist with warehouse duties, stocking inventory in the warehouse and in the showroom, maintaining the yard
- Work with our field sales team and other internal associates to enhance customer satisfaction and to facilitate a team atmosphere
- Ensure every customer interaction is marked by promptness, professionalism, and precision
- Endure timely delivery and/or pickup of products and/or equipment to and from customer facility or job site
- Operate vehicles in accordance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations
- Maintain vehicles by conducting daily inspections for maintenance needs, licensing and registration expirations and reporting any deficiencies to the management
