AMSCO, a division of Linwood Mining & Minerals, is currently seeking flexible, reliable and safety-oriented applicants for our Non-CDL Truck Driver role in Davenport, IA. We’re looking for a dependable Non-CDL Truck Driver to support daily operations at our limestone plant and quarry. In this role, you’ll haul and dump mineral fillers, run semi belt trailers and dump trucks, operate a skid steer, and jump in wherever needed — this is a hands-on, physical position. Schedules can vary based on production needs, so flexibility and a team-first mindset are key to being successful in this role. What makes you successful in this position? Enjoyment of manual, physical work and being outdoors. Prior experience as a truck driver preferred Comfortable operating heavy equipment and heavy machinery such as a skid steer, dump truck, etc. A team player mentality and the desire to be a part of a successful, hard-working team. Working in an environment that promotes growth based on performance. Work hours will vary based on production and operational needs. While the primary schedule is expected to be Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m-11:00 p.m., this person must be prepared to adjust to other shifts, including first shift, sometimes with limited notice. Weekend work may also be required as business needs require. All candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, valid drivers license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical. Pay for this position starts out at $21.50/hour. Requirements
