Requirements

  • Previous experience as an NDT Technician (UT, MT, PT, or VT preferred)
  • Current NDT certifications- Level I or II
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50–75% of the time
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments
  • Flexibility with changing schedules
  • High level of professionalism and reliability
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and kneel for prolonged periods (shifts may be 12+ hours)
  • Good visual acuity, including near, distance, and color vision
  • Ability to wear a full‑face respirator and other PPE for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Comfortable climbing and working from ladders, stairs, and scaffolding (sometimes 100+ ft)
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces
  • Ability to work in extreme heat and cold
  • Ability to work around industrial hazards

Responsibilities

  • Conduct non‑destructive tests using techniques such as: Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Visual Inspection (VT)
  • Set up, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment, including ultrasonic units such as DSM GO+ and Danatronics meters
  • Use power tools such as angle grinders and die grinders for surface preparation
  • Evaluate inspection results and determine acceptance or rejection based on industry codes and client requirements
  • Prepare clear, accurate, and timely inspection reports
  • Work collaboratively with clients and maintain strong client relationships on‑site
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support project and operational needs
