About The Position

The CFS Development Manager (formerly F&I Development Manager) is a dynamic leader who drives successful Finance and Insurance (F&I) performance in our markets. The CFS Development Manager works directly with store management to accelerate their Customer Financial Services (F&I) performance. Serve as the primary F&I performance partner for stores within the assigned market, supporting execution of the company’s financial services strategy. Coach and mentor store-level F&I Directors to improve processes, performance, and customer satisfaction. Use performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities, and develop action plans to improve PVR, product penetration, and compliance metrics. Collaborate with General Managers, Market Presidents, and other regional leaders to ensure alignment between sales, finance, and service strategies. Facilitate ongoing training and development of in-store finance associates to support career progression and bench strength. Monitor and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations across all stores in the market. Champion digital retail and technology adoption to drive transparency, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Drive consistency and accountability in the F&I process, from initial customer introduction to product presentation and delivery. Lead regular market performance reviews, communicating expectations and holding store leadership accountable for results. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of F&I leadership experience, including multi-store or market-level exposure. Proven track record of exceeding F&I performance goals. Strong understanding of F&I products, lending, and regulatory requirements. Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority across multiple locations. Effective communicator and coach with strong data analysis and strategic planning skills. High integrity and a commitment to compliance, transparency, and customer satisfaction. Proficiency in CRM, DMS, and digital retailing tools. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned market. Lead the Future of Automotive Retail.
