This role is responsible for designing and executing a dynamic portfolio of field marketing initiatives and events across North America, including client conferences, trade shows, executive dinners, and multi-city roadshows. The manager will develop localized marketing strategies that generate demand, accelerate the sales pipeline, and enhance brand visibility. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, content, product, and client success to deliver seamless, high-impact experiences. The position combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, including budgeting, logistics, and measurement of results. Success requires creativity, strong project management skills, and the ability to drive measurable business outcomes in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in field or corporate events management within technology, software, or e-commerce organizations focused on North America.
  • Demonstrated success executing industry events and field marketing campaigns with clearly defined objectives and measurable KPIs.
  • Proven experience managing event budgets of varying scale and complexity.
  • Strong understanding of marketing metrics and their application in measuring event success.
  • Proficiency with event management tools such as Asana, Marketo, Cvent, Salesforce, HubSpot, and virtual event platforms.
  • Exceptional project management, communication, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales and Client Success, to align marketing initiatives with broader business objectives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to travel 25–40% as required for events.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a North America field events strategy to elevate brand awareness and achieve measurable business objectives.
  • Plan and manage a variety of events, from intimate executive dinners to large multi-city roadshows, ensuring clear objectives, KPIs, and outcomes for each event.
  • Lead end-to-end event execution, including budgeting, logistics, vendor management, pre- and post-event marketing, and post-event analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders—regional sales teams, marketing, content, product, and client success—to align events with business goals.
  • Leverage marketing channels, emerging technologies, and industry trends to optimize event effectiveness and enhance the client experience.
  • Track and report on event metrics, including attendance, leads generated, opportunities created, and feedback, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
