About The Position
As a Nurse Extern, you will be responsible for the following: Performs specific tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse. Demonstrates accountability for assigned patients on shift or assignment. Seeks out learning opportunities and guidance from appropriate individuals. Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or a Registered Nurse, the Nurse Extern will carry out routine patient care assignments, work in controlled care situations, and perform established nursing procedures for individuals or groups of patients.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Nursing
- Completed at least one (1) semester of medical surgical clinical rotation
- CPR BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
