How you’ll make an impact in this role Deliver Essential Care: Support your patients’ well-being by assisting with activities of daily living and accurately monitoring vital signs, ensuring they feel dignified and cared for. Sharpen Your Clinical Eye: Observe patient status and responses firsthand. You’ll play a critical role in the care team by documenting and reporting these observations directly to your preceptor. Collaborate on Care Planning: Move beyond the basics by assisting your preceptor in developing comprehensive care plans, using your reports on test results and patient observations to help shape clinical outcomes. Support the Unit Ecosystem: Take an active role in the flow of the department, from preparing and transporting patients for diagnostic services to ensuring a safe, clean environment for healing.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High school diploma/GED required.
Must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer and begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer.

Current Nursing Enrollment: You are actively pursuing your nursing degree through an accredited ADN, BSN, or MSN program.
