About The Position
We are seeking a highly experienced Nurse Manager II – Operating Room (OR) to lead perioperative services in a fast-paced acute care hospital. This role requires strong Operating Room leadership experience and the ability to drive high-quality patient care, team performance, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Active Oregon RN License
- Strong Operating Room (OR) leadership experience (required)
- 5+ years of patient care experience
- 4+ years of leadership experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of the Operating Room and ensure patient safety
- Manage, mentor, and develop nursing and clinical teams
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (Joint Commission, Nursing Practice Act)
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource utilization
- Drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Manage departmental performance, workflows, and operations
- Support strategic planning and process improvements
