Nurse Manager ( RN ) - Perioperative Services
About The Position

The Nurse Manager is responsible for the daily clinical operations of the Perioperative areas in coordination with the Director of Perioperative Services. Our Nurse Manager will: Mentor, supervise, and evaluate the team to reach their full potential and inspire continual professional growth Participate in managing budgets, resource allocation, and scheduling Regularly assess unit operations and identify process improvements to enhance the patient experience Share responsibility for meeting regulatory agency requirements, and provide oversight for the standard of practice utilized in their patient care areas
Requirements
- Passion for Perioperative Services & Nursing Leadership
- 2-5 Years of recent clinical experience in the acute care Perioperative setting
- Previous leadership experience
- Regulatory knowledge
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required
- New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
Nice To Haves
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree preferred
