Since its inception in 1992, the Kidney Transplant Program has performed more than 300 kidney transplants, with outcomes among the best in the nation. Our Nurse Practitioners work within a strong, multi-disciplinary team providing post-transplant care and follow up to patients from infants until adulthood. Pediatric Transplant Center | Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (chop.edu) In collaboration with an attending physician, the Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the direct care and follow-up of a population of patients that matches his/her delineation of privileges and skill set. The components of the role include clinical practice, consultation, professional development, education, and research.
