Nurse Practitioner - OB/GYN - Queens Medical Group In this role, the Nurse Practitioner provides health care to OB/GYN patients in collaboration with the providers. Responsibilities include the delivery of care within the Medical and Surgical divisions, in accordance with the agreed upon Practice Protocols and Nurse Practitioner Clinical Practice Agreement. Acts within the policies and procedures established by the Division of Nursing, service department, and NewYork Presbyterian Queens Medical Group. This is a full-time, day-shift position based at both the Fresh Meadows and Forest Hills locations within Queens Medical Group.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Current New York State License as Nurse Practitioner.
  • Current New York State RN license.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from a New York State approved accrediting body – American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
  • ACLS and BCLS Certifications from the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • OB/GYN experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to educate patients effectively.
