Job Summary: Provides primary or acute healthcare services for certain acute or chronic health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Performs the supervision of stress tests in the Cardiology department, including Echocardiography stress and Nuclear Medicine stress exams. Job Description: MaineGeneral Medical Center is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work with the Cardiology Stress Testing team. Under the direction of medical staff, supervise exercise and pharmacologic stress test exams in the Cardiology department. Stress tests include Stress Echo and Nuclear Stress Tests. Obtain patient history and perform assessment via observation, interview and examination. Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions, as needed in the clinical setting.
