About The Position

This is a standard urgent care role in a rural health environment, seeing patients of all ages. Providers see a variable number of patients per day, depending on need and season. Providers are supported by dedicated clinical assistants. All work is within the area of standard urgent care:
- obtaining history of present illness
- performing physical examination
- ordering and interpreting laboratory and radiologic testing
- prescribing medications
Urgent care procedures include, but are not limited to:
- venipuncture
- dressing changes
- wound management
- application of splints
- incision and drainage of simple abscesses
- removal of foreign bodies
The practice uses an EHR.

Requirements

• Arizona NP or PA license
• DEA
• ability to see patients of all ages
