About The Position

The role focuses on evaluating patients with chronic and acute pain conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and performing or assisting with minimally invasive interventional procedures. The position offers a collaborative clinic environment, weekday-only scheduling, and the ability to work closely with experienced physicians and clinical staff to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.

Requirements

Active Arizona NP or PA license
DEA license with Schedule II–IV authority
Graduate of an accredited U.S. NP or PA program

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of experience in interventional pain management, spine, orthopedics, or related specialty
Familiarity with pain procedures and multidisciplinary treatment approaches
Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive physical examinations and obtain detailed patient histories
Evaluate and diagnose chronic and acute pain conditions
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Perform or assist with interventional procedures including epidural steroid injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation (RFA), spinal cord stimulator trials, vertebral augmentation, MILD, and Vertiflex procedures
Order, review, and interpret imaging studies and laboratory results
Prescribe medications within scope of practice and regulatory guidelines
Accurately document all patient encounters within the electronic medical record (EMR)
Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and clinical staff to coordinate patient care
Educate patients on treatment options, procedures, and pain management strategies
