About The Position
Advanced Practice Provider – Inpatient Surgical OR – Piedmont Rockdale Hospital Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Vascular Surgical service line team working at our Piedmont Rockdale campus located in Conyers, GA. Shifts are 10 hours, 4 days a week with varying call responsibilities. This position may also occasionally provide some inpatient cross coverage for other Cardiovascular service lines, such as Cardiology. In this position you will: Perform OR first assist duties Round on patients in the hospital Assist in management of post-operative and critically ill patients Evaluate Cardiovascular patients in the office setting Apply specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in intensive care areas. Requirements
- Masters, Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification --or-- Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National C ertification and RNFA certification
Nice To Haves
- Previous Vascular Surgery with operative experience preferred.
- Will consider those with previous Cardiovascular experience and an operative interest.
