About The Position

Join Advance Community Health as a Nurse Practitioner for our Holly Springs Starlight OB/GYN and Women's Center in Holly Springs, NC. The OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to women throughout their reproductive lives. Working in a collaborative, team-based environment, this position involves conducting full scope women's care including, well-women checks, family planning, pre-natal care, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. while supporting the FQHC mission to improve health equity and access to quality care.

Requirements

  • Certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with women’s health experience.
  • Active or eligible North Carolina Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Active or eligible RN license in North Carolina.
  • DEA license or eligibility to obtain + BLS required
  • Experience working in an FQHC, community health, or underserved setting preferred.
  • Strong commitment to health equity, culturally competent care, and community-based practice.
  • At least one year of experience in a primary care setting functioning at the full extent of training and licensure.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
  • Minimum of 2 years obstetrical/gynecological provider experience required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an OB/GYN setting or women's health clinic.
  • Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
  • Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records system preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive women’s health services, including gynecologic care, prenatal and postpartum visits, and family planning services.
  • Conduct patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning within scope of practice.
  • Perform routine exams, screenings, and in-office procedures.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with North Carolina regulations.
  • Educate patients on reproductive health, pregnancy, preventive care, and wellness.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, behavioral health providers, and care coordinators.
  • Document care accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical protocols, and population health efforts.
  • Comply with HRSA, federal, state, and FQHC regulatory and reporting requirements.
