Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our amazing team in Concord, NC! The Medical Provider provides direct care and ensures the systematic provision of clinical care and social services that meet the agency’s client engagement expectations. This role works effectively and collaboratively with the Program Director, Clinical Director, and clinical staff, as well as health plans and community stakeholders. This position entails meeting with clients struggling with Substance Use Disorder and various Mental Health Disorders.

Requirements

Active medical license in the appropriate state.
One year of experience in a substance use disorder treatment setting and must possess direct clinical training and work experience in the areas of substance use disorder treatment.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to problem-solve by gathering and analyzing information.
Ability to handle a crisis situation and react appropriately.
A working knowledge of federal and state standards as well as regulating body standards.

Responsibilities

Provides direct care to clients.
Consults with primary healthcare providers to ensure the physical healthcare needs of clients are met.
Coordinates with the medical staff of other providers such as state and inpatient facilities.
