Position Summary The role of the Nurse reports to the Clinic Manager. This position is responsible for providing direct patient care.

Requirements

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Licensure and Certifications: Arkansas LPN or RN license and CPR, required.

  • Experience: Previous experience in a nursing role, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain patient vitals and update patient medical history and medications while inputting data collected into the electronic medical records system
  • Perform any necessary CLIA-waived tests
  • Clean room after patient use
  • Ensure exam rooms are stocked with appropriate materials
  • Appropriately process soiled instruments
  • Respond timely to patient messages and inquiries
  • Obtain insurance prior authorizations for consultation and/or imaging, as needed
  • Refill provider-authorized medications via electronic, fax or phone as authorized and appropriate
  • Coordinate any appointment and/or procedures with other providers or facilities, as necessary
  • Assist front office staff with daily operations, as needed
