About The Position

Atlantic Health System, is seeking a Per Diem Nursing Assistant for the MED/Simon 5 Unit at Morristown Medical Center to work 7AM - 7:30PM, or 7pm to 7:30 AM including every other weekend.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Will train
Excellent experience for nursing students

Nice To Haves

BLS preferred
CNA preferred

Responsibilities

Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care
Assisting patients with daily activities including bathing, feeding, and changing
Measuring and recording vital signs
Administering basic treatments
Helping to ensure a safe care environment
Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met
Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
Good communication skills
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have positive customer service skills
