Nursing Attendant - Women and Children's Float Pool - Full Time - Nights
About The Position

Provide comfort and caring as an NYP nursing attendant-keeping our fast-paced environments running smoothly. Provide compassionate patient focus and perform select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment. Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration and blood pressure. Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient care. This is a full time night shift, 11:00 pm - 7:15 am, 5 shifts per week, every other weekend, holidays, located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital.
Requirements
- Qualified candidates are currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) program and have completed at least one clinical rotation or will have previous certified nurses aide or nursing attendant experience, or certification through an approved, accredited certified nurses aide training program.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- BCLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
