About The Position

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) is a 126-bed, inpatient psychiatric hospital and start-up joint venture between Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine and Universal Health Services. In addition to a general adult unit and dedicated adolescent unit, the facility offers services for treating those with co-occurring disorders on the psychiatric-medical unit, an intensive adult unit to care for those with severe conditions, as well as a women’s trauma unit. Staff Scheduling Coordinators are responsible for completing the following duties and tasks: Schedule nursing unit staff. Determine and ensure appropriate unit staffing ratio. Adhere to nursing FTE standards and manage according to Hospital policy. Accurately communicates nurse managers/house supervisor regarding staff and acuity levels. Monitor and deliver information for infection control to employee health coordinator. Carries out clerical and administrative assignments to support department operation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • One year of nursing scheduling experience preferred.
