About The Position

Are you passionate about exceptional service and making a tangible difference in healthcare? Join our vital Food Service team! You'll play a crucial role in providing optimal nutritional care, delivering safe meals, and demonstrating excellent customer service to patients, guests, and staff. You will: Industry Standard Adherence: Follow healthcare foodservice standards, regulations, and guidelines (food temps, cross-contamination, hygiene, labeling, storage). Food Prep & Service: Prepare/serve food within menu/dietary guidelines; know recipe ingredients for allergy questions. Customer Experience: Ensure high-quality patient/customer experience with proper meal portioning and presentation. Diverse Responsibilities (may include): Coffee shop, cashiering, retail serving, patient tray assembly/delivery, cold food prep, utility assignments (dishwashing), catering, inventory support, general cleaning.

Requirements

  • Food Service Experience: Minimum one (1) year.
  • Safety & Hygiene Focus: Strong commitment to food safety and sanitation.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in preparation, presentation, and cleanliness.
  • Required Licensure and/or Certification: Food Handler’s Card within thirty (30) days.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Cashier experience
