New York Common Pantry is one of the city’s largest hunger relief organizations, providing food assistance, case management services, senior food provision, nutrition education, and hygiene services. Last year, we assisted over 764,000 visitors, served over 11.7 million meals, and accessed $10.7 million in public benefits resources for our guests. Through an array of programs that we offer, we look to establish long-term stability for those we serve. NYCP is seeking a Nutrition Program Commodities Associate to join our LH! Team. The primary purpose of the role is an integral part of NY Common Pantry's Live Healthy! Team, supporting the needs of the SNAP-Es III Program - Nutrition Education and Food Equity initiatives. The support is needed in the inventory and delivery of food and non-food supplies, helping with incentive tracking, inventory, and supporting food distribution events, assisting in packing & distribution while at the site, and assisting with data entry. The Nutrition Program Commodities Associate will report to the Director of Nutrition at the 788 Southern Blvd, Bronx, NY,10455 location, and at other NYCP locations as needed. This is a part-time position, up to 28 hours a week, non-exempt. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 9 am - 5 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break, including some Saturdays. Please note that this is a grant-funded position with funding anticipated up to September 30, 2026. Continuation of this position is dependent on contract renewal.
