About The Position

The Facility Manager is responsible for providing leadership, oversight, and direction for operations and customer service at the Napavine Washington facility. The Facility Manager will be responsible for scheduling jobs and assembly, managing inventory, and managing the facility's day-to-day responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to: Oversee departmental cost optimization efforts and provide weekly metrics on facility performance against cost targets Exceed departmental targets on schedule attainment and gross margin. Manage staff, provide directions, set expectations, and crew to optimize effectiveness. Perform HR functions of hiring and termination at the facility level. Partner with EZ Loader Sales Team to optimize sales. Work directly with other EZL management to drive costs down throughout the company. Provide daily and weekly metrics on attainment. Manage the facility to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. Train, motivate, coach, and monitor the performance of all facility staff. Requirements

  • Associates degree or greater preferred
  • 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Proficiency in computers is required, particularly in Microsoft Office-based programs
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos and able to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations with customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to be able to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to read and comprehend measuring tools such as a tape measure.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must be willing to learn and practice continuous improvement techniques such as, but limited to, 5S and set-up reduction.
  • Able to participate and lead in a team-oriented environment with the willingness to assist and train others.
  • Demonstrate safe behavior and support department/plant Safety goals in a continuous improvement process.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends before and after schedule as needed.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
