About The Position
WTEN-TV ABC and WXXA-TV FOX in Albany New York are participating in the New York State Broadcasters Association Internship program for 2026. Candidates will be chosen to complete a Spring/Summer internship, up to 180 hours, in which they will be exposed to the full array of career opportunities available in the TV Broadcast industry. Internships are available for qualified students studying broadcast journalism, video production, and other communication degrees. Several departments may choose to accept interns, including but not necessarily limited to: News, Creative Services, Production, and Community Development. Internship Details: Each internship is for 16 hours per week for up to 15 weeks Will be well supervised and participate in a meaningful learning experience Upon completion of the internship, the student will be evaluated through a written review by the internship supervisor Applications must be submitted in Workday by April 1, 2026
Requirements
- Must be senior in their last year of concentrated study
- Be of advanced skill level due to complexity of projects
- A collaborative worker with a willingness to learn
