About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) has an OB/GYN Generalist opportunity with NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health . Our maternity care team features board-certified and fellowship-trained physicians and an experienced team of certified sonographers, whom take great care in helping women manage their health at every stage of pregnancy, childbirth, delivery, and infancy. Approximately 1,000 births annually. We specialize in the diagnosis and management of obstetric, medical, surgical, and fetal complications of pregnancy. We perform advanced pregnancy ultrasound, consultations, genetic testing and counseling, fetal testing and support for high risk pregnancies. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in order to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery. Requirements

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Laproscopic skills
  • Experience with minimally invasive surgery (or training)
  • Experience or training in robotic surgery
  • Interest in teaching

Nice To Haves

  • Russian fluency a plus, language skills in Chinese (mandarin) and Hebrew also helpful

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct obstetric and gynecologic care to patients, including ambulatory care clinics, in-patient services, and on-call coverage nights and weekends.
  • Provide gynecological surgical care to patients, including minimally invasive techniques.
  • Provide generalist obstetric and gynecologic care to patients.
  • Provide supervision and teaching to Fellows, Residents and Medical Students, including didactic sessions.
  • Participate in quality improvement and performance improvement activities, as directed by department leadership.

Benefits

  • Annual Base Salary: $296,000 (board eligible); $301,000 (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
  • The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $435,800 (board eligible) and $441,300 (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
  • Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $70,200.
  • Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
