About The Position
Atlantic Health is Seeking an OB Hospitalist for a Great Opportunity in New Jersey! Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking an OB Hospitalist to be part of the Maternity Center at Newton Medical Center. The immediate team consists of a dynamic multidisciplinary specialist who is specially trained to provide a complete range of women’s services, from annual exams to obstetrics and family planning. The facility currently sees about 500 annual deliveries and expects that number to grow in future years. Situated approximately 60 miles (97 km) by road northwest of New York City. Newton New Jersey offers a unique balance between city life and the great outdoors!
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board-Certified
- 2-3 years of experience preferred
- Demonstrated success working individually and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Evaluation and emergency management of patients in the OB and L&D
- Attending deliveries
- Assisting, and performing surgical procedures
- Seven, 24-hour shifts per month
