OBGYN Physician Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Bozeman, MT • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Call Only • Call Schedule: 24-hr calls; 7a-7a - 2-4 shifts per month • Call Type: Pager • Call Response Time: 15 mins • Shift Coverage: Consists of Return OB (ROBS) • Patient Volume: Approx. 16 • Annual Deliveries: 800 • Admissions Required: Yes • Rounding Included: Yes • Support Staff: 3 APPS, 4 RNs & 8 MAs • Required Procedures: - Low & High-risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation-NST/CST/FSE - OB Ultrasounds-Performance of, interpretation (Level I/Screening (viability) & Level II/Targeted (anatomic) - Routine & Complicated delivery: C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions & VBACs - Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations • Trauma Level: III • EMR: Epic (IP) & Cerner (OP) • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements
- Active MT License or IMLC
- BC/BE
- BLS
- Must have experience using Epic & Cerner
- Case Logs (at least 50 deliveries and 50 gyn surgical cases within the last 24 months)
