About The Position

We’re currently looking for an Occasional Babysitter in Milwaukie, Oregon 97267 A loving family is looking for an occasional babysitter to provide attentive backup care for their 2.5-month-old son, on an as needed basis. Dad works from home and will be present in the house during care times. Schedule: On an as needed basis; typically weekdays between the hours of 7:30am-3:30pm - No guaranteed hours Start date: ASAP End date/Length of Position: Ongoing as needed for back up care needs Compensation: $26/hr

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of paid professional infant childcare experience
• CPR certified, or willingness to become certified
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Able to provide 2 childcare-related references from a professional setting
• Able to successfully clear a background and social media screening

Responsibilities

• Feed the baby (breast milk will be provided)
• Warm and test breast milk from the refrigerator before feeding
• Burp the baby after feedings
• Change diapers as needed
• Engage and interact with the baby in a nurturing way
• Put the baby down for naps when possible
