Flexible schedule; 5:30pm end time Job Summary Part-time 24-hour day position at WDH Main Campus in Dover, NH. Flexible schedule; 5:30pm end time. Benefit eligible! Seeking a candidate with strong outpatient skills in general orthopedic and complex neurological conditions to service our hospital-based outpatient clinic in Dover as well as satellite clinics. Summary: Helps people of all ages to participate in the activities and occupations that are important to them. Routinely works with individuals who have physical, cognitive, developmental, or emotional challenges that affect their ability to perform everyday tasks. Does this position require Patient Care? Requirements

  • Master's Degree Occupational Therapy required
  • Occupational Therapist [NH State License]
  • Basic Life Support [BLS Certification]
  • Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred
  • occupational therapist experience 1 year preferred experience in an outpatient setting
  • Ability to work effectively with patients and co-workers.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments of patients' physical, mental, and developmental abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
  • Implement and monitor treatment plans, adjusting as needed.
  • Provide education to patients and their families about therapeutic activities and exercises they can do at home.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress notes.
  • Attend staff meetings, continuing education programs, and professional development activities to stay current with new techniques and best practices.
