This is a full-time, .8, 64 hrs per 2 weeks, (Wed-Sat) position at Scripps Encinitas. This energetic team functions in a very collaborative way, both within their team of experienced therapists and inter-disciplinarily with other teams as well. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and develop their skills while maintaining a patient-centered approach to the care they provide. The Occupational Therapist provides evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment, and education to patients and clients through a continuum of care according to the therapist's respective licensure/registration/certification, Code of Ethics, Federal/State regulations, JCAHO/UMQC and Care Center policies and procedures. They perform competencies as outlined in Rehabilitation Services Competency Assessment tools and demonstrate age specific care as established for area and job title. $4K New Hire Incentive and $3K Relocation if moving from 100+ miles. #LI-JS1

Requirements

  • Current CA Occupational Therapy license OR Pending CA OT license. Must be in hand to start.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
  • Current BLS Certificate

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care setting
